This is a group to meet fellow members of the Canton Area LGBTQ community outside of the bars. Let's have fun! Play games, cards, go to concerts, do group activities, volunteer, and anything else that looks like fun.

These are some of the words that people have used to describe "us": gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, transexual, intersex, pansexual, asexual, trisexual, cross dresser, questioning, undecided, polyamorous, monogamous, alternative. We are all of these and so much more than these. "We" have been "in the news"... Proposition 8; being bullied into suicide; The Boy Scout "fiasco"... Society is changing - it is getting better! This book club is a space for feminists to openly exchange ideas about feminism, classism, racism etc. and critique literature relating to those topics. By providing a space for people to talk and learn from each other, we hope to encourage the personal and social practice of feminism in everyday life.
